Online Audio from NPEC Book Release at AEI: How to Avoid War in South Asia

Audio of a joint event hosted by the American Enterprise Institute and NPEC, "The Other Nuclear Threat: Avoiding War in South Asia," is now online, where the participants introduce and discuss the research found in NPEC's new book, Pakistan's Nuclear Future: Reining in the Risk.

Participants of this joint event hosted by the American Enterprise Institute include:

  • Colonel John H. Gill, U.S. Army (retired), of the National Defense University's Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies
  • Retired brigadier general Feroz Hassan Khan, a former director of arms control and disarmament affairs in the Joint Services Headquarters of the Pakistani Army
  • NPEC's executive director Henry Sokolski
  • Moderator: Tom Donally, director of AEI's Center for Defense Studies
The Nonproliferation Policy Education Center (NPEC), is a 501 (c)3 nonpartisan, nonprofit, educational organization
founded in 1994 to promote a better understanding of strategic weapons proliferation issues. NPEC educates policymakers, journalists,
and university professors about proliferation threats and possible new policies and measures to meet them.
